Dr. Patrick Soto’s knowledge of Physiatry equips him with the tools to help keep people active in their lives. His additional focus in the areas of neurological and musculoskeletal dysfunction give him an even greater ability to provide patients with the highest level of care. He enjoys witnessing people get better after a little guidance.
Dr. Soto received his Doctor of Osteopathy in 2004 from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, completed an Osteopathic traditional rotating internship at Dartmouth Family Medicine Residency in Maine, and completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Loyola University in Chicago. He is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
His specialties are Osteopathic Manipulations, Botox and Dysport injections for spasticity and increased tone, implanting and managing intrathecal pumps for spasticity, cancer and chronic pain , interventional pain procedures for spinal/back pain and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
Dr. Soto’s interest in medical rehabilitation became clear to him while he was training as an osteopath. This focus was a natural progression once he discovered the field, stemming from a firm belief in the core principle: “Treat the entire person as mind, body, and spirit”.
Dr. Soto is fluent in both English and Spanish; Dr. Soto is active in the gym and on the slopes to stay in shape. He also enjoys fishing for bass, pike and walleye and traveling to Mexico.
